Today the Yankees lost Robinson Cano to the Mariners for a price of $240 million dollars for a timespan of ten years. Well the Yanks turned around and was able to sign Carlos Beltran for $45 million for three years. It looks like Beltran got what he wanted a three year contract for the New York Yankees. The Yanks are beefing up since losing Granderson and Cano. With Ellsbury, McCann and Beltran they could be back in contention. Beltran will probably see more time at DH instead of playing time at right field. With the Yanks signing Beltran the Cardinals will get a compensation pick between round one and two. With Beltran out this could be Oscar Tavares time to shine!
