For what its worth Joe Strauss of the St. Louis Post Dispatch had reported on the Ryan Kelley Morning After show on Monday that one name keeps popping up that could be a possible fit for the struggling Cardinals that can’t buy a hit. Here is what Strauss said on the show,
”Alfonso Soriano is a name I’ve heard a few times,” Strauss said. “His name may be better than his production right now. But at least he’s somebody who has the vestige of power, a little bit of versatility. I think that’s a name we hear about a little bit going forward.” This team needs a bat in a big way. Since Soriano is now without a team this could be a pick up instead of a trade. I think this could help the Cardinalsand energize this lifeless Cardinal team.
